Klements Scarves founder and designer Charlotte Allen’s pieces celebrate the form and colour of plant and animal life. Deeply in tune with the natural world and values close to It’s Nice Out’s heart, here she gives us an insight into Klements, her design process and inspirations.
Anthony Oram’s outdoors brand Auxiliary Outside Projects came about when the designer decided to put his archive of type-led compositions to good use, applying them to prints, garments and other sundries for sale in his online store. Being a keen mountain biker, cycling and outdoors lifestyle are the main themes in his designs and product range. I was drawn to the simple, clean styling of the brand image and wanted to find out more about Ant, his inspirations and processes, and have a general nosey into everything AOP. Read on for a great insight onto what makes him and AOP tick, and details of a generous 15% discount off of all Auxiliary Outside Projects purchases for It’s Nice Out newsletter subscribers.
Each week It’s Nice Out will be coming over all unnecessary with our latest pet brands and sharing them right here. These are companies and products we’ve noticed on our travels that we recognise to be in harmony with the ethos of It’s Nice Out. They may be big or small, long-established or out-of-the-box brand new. What they share in common is their outdoors focus and unique, effective and interesting products. And, most importantly, we think they’re cool. I’m pleased to feature today a project that wholly fulfils all of those criteria.
